Artistic Approach
My pictorial approach remains fundamentally abstract, in the sense that it affirms the reality of the invisible.
It is a rupture and a radical insurrection against what is imposed upon the thinking and existing subject as
"reality."
This radicality, which philosophers know well, as a painter I put into practice through the tension of
colours and forms: painting is the affirmation of singularity and subjectivity, beyond all
determinisms and all powers.
It is always about making visible the reality of subjectivity — thinking, loving, and perceiving.
Thus the recognisable elements of places or beings, in my most recent canvases, always originate from
the same radical insurrection.
To paint is to rise up.
