Parcours 

CYB est née dans le Dauphiné, en France.

Elle s’initie très tôt à la technique picturale et au dessin, en Nouvelle Calédonie dans le Pacifique Sud où elle passe son enfance, puis à Carthage sur les rives de la Méditerranée.

De retour en France à Paris dans le quartier de Montparnasse, elle continue à peindre et à dessiner parallèlement à des études de philosophie à la Sorbonne. Elle s’intéresse de près aux courants abstraits. Une rencontre importante avec le peintre Georges Mathieu lui permet d’approfondir sa recherche artistique. Durant cette période elle écrit différents articles, notamment sur l’Abstraction Lyrique et sur l’Expressionnisme.

Elle peint pendant dix ans à Lille et commence à exposer à partir de 2000.

Depuis 2004 elle peint et vit à Paris. Ces dernières années sont marquées par la découverte de Venise, et par l’émergence d’éléments figuratifs dans sa peinture

 

 

• Biography

         CYB was born in the Dauphiné, France.

She was initiated to painting and drawing very early, in New Caledonia, South Pacific, where she spent her childhood, then in Carthago, on the shores of  the Mediterranean Sea.

Back to France in Paris, Montparnasse, she went on painting and drawing, while studying philosophy at la Sorbonne University. She got interested closely to abstract movements. An important encounter with Georges Mathieu made her go deeper into her artistic research. During this period she wrote different articles, specially on Lyric Abstraction, and on Expressionism.

She painted during ten years in Lille, France and began to exhibit her work in 2000.

Since 2004 she lives and paints in Paris. These last years were marked by the discovery of Venice, and by the emergence of figurative elements in her painting.

   CYB è nata nel Dauphiné, Francia.

 

‘E stata iniziata alla pittura e al disegno molto presto in Nuova Caledonia nel Pacifico del Sud dove ha trascorso la sua infanzia, e dopo a Cartagine sulle rive del Mediterraneo.

 

  Tornata in Francia a Parigi, nel quartiere di Montparnasse, ha continuato a dipingere e a disegnare durante gli studi di filosofia all’università la Sorbonne.Si è interessata attentamente a diverse correnti astratte. Un incontro importante con il pittore Georges Mathieu le ha permesso di approfondire la sua ricerca artistica. Durante quel periodo, ha scritto diversi articoli, specialmente sull’Astrattismo e sull’Espressionismo.

 

  Ha dipinto a Lille, Francia, durante dieci anni, e ha cominciato a esporre le sue opere nel 2000.

 

  Dal 2004 vive e dipinge a Parigi. La scoperta di Venezia l’ha segnata profondamente negli ultimi anni con l’emergenza di elementi figurativi nella sua pittura.
